Overview
You may not use NISTA's Services to violate the law, harm other users, or undermine the security, integrity, or availability of the platform.
Prohibited Activities
The activities in the sections below are prohibited without exception. Additional restrictions may apply under your Order Form.
Security Abuse
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any system, account, or data.
- Probing, scanning, or testing without written authorization from NISTA security.
- Interfering with detection, logging, or rate-limiting controls.
Reverse Engineering
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Services, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by applicable law.
Illegal Content
You may not use the Services to store, transmit, or generate content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or the jurisdictions in which NISTA operates.
Malware
You may not upload, host, distribute, or execute malware, ransomware, worms, or other malicious code.
Spam
You may not use the Services to send unsolicited communications or otherwise violate anti-spam laws (including CAN-SPAM and equivalents).
Unauthorized Automation
Automated access outside published APIs and documented rate limits — including scraping, credential stuffing, and denial-of-service testing — is prohibited.
AI Abuse
- Using AI features to generate content that harasses, deceives, or endangers others.
- Attempts to bypass safety, moderation, or grounding controls.
- Using AI features to produce content depicting minors in a sexualized manner (strictly prohibited).
- Automated decision-making that materially affects individuals without human oversight, in violation of law or policy.
Credential Theft
You may not phish, harvest, or misuse credentials of NISTA employees, customers, or third parties.
Copyright Violations
You may not use the Services to infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual-property rights. NISTA responds to valid DMCA notices — see Contact Legal.
Enforcement
NISTA may investigate suspected violations, preserve evidence, and take proportionate action including warnings, throttling, suspension, or termination. Serious violations may be reported to law enforcement.
